We've had a blast this month with the arrival of "kickball" season! Sam's therapy providers, Sensational Kids, formed a kickball league this year for children ages 4-12 with a variety of special needs. It has been such a blessing (and a hoot) to watch all of these children get the chance to participate in a team sport. Sam has thoroughly enjoyed it and loves having his Daddy on the field with him as one of the "coaches". With only one week left of gameplay, I hate to see it end, Sam's really getting the hang of it and having so much fun. Grammy and Papa came up one night last week to catch a game and he was so tickled to have them there, he could barely run the bases without turning and looking to see if they were watching him - he had quite a cheering section!
