Halloween 2007

Well, Sam's Halloween costume came in the mail today, and I couldn't pass up the chance to get a few pictures of him in it while he was cooperative and the weather outside was so nice! In case you can't make it out, he's a race car driver this year, and was quite proud of his costume! He's really been into race cars since the movie "Cars" came out last year - so I figured this would be a great idea for a costume this year. With such sweet tooth (wonder who he got that from?) we should have a great time "trick-or-treating" this year!

Miracle Rodeo 2007

Today, Kevin, Sam and I, along with his Grandma Jo and Grandad, attended the 10th annual Miracle Rodeo here in Jonesboro. This is an event that caters to children and adults of varying disabilities and allows them to experience a wide variety of "cowboy" activities. Sam had a ball! Unfortunately, I didn't get many pictures - I was too busy getting video, but I thought these pictures of Sam and one of the Craighead County Mounted Police were too funny not to post. He enjoyed riding the horse - but was hanging on for dear life!

Peebles Pumpkin Patch

This weekend, we traveled to Augusta for our annual trip to the pumpkin patch. The weather was absolutely beautiful - albeit very windy! We had a great time!

Daddy's buddy

Kevin and Sam had a little father/son time watching Monday Night Football together in bed on Monday night. He is definitely Daddy's little buddy these days!

Sam's First Trophy

Sensational Kids held a "wrap party"/awards ceremony at Craighead Forrest Park last week for all the kids who participated in the kickball program during the month of September. Despite the hoards of mosquitos swarming us (you gotta love living in Delta surrounded by rice fields!), the kids all had a great time and were so proud of their trophys! The picture of Sam's team (The Blue Wildcats - the kids came up with that one!) is missing several players that were not able to make it out that night, but as you can tell by their expressions they were all quite pleased with themselves! Can't wait till next season!

An early debut....

On Tuesday, we went to the doctor for our 4D ultrasound. It was so much fun!!! This baby girl, however, was none too happy with us for disturbing her sleep! We got such a kick out of watching her expressions - she was really trying to give us some dirty looks!!! So far, she weighs 3 lbs. 10 oz. and when measured shows a due date of December 2nd instead of the 16th, so it looks like we may have another early arrival on our hands (Sam was 3 weeks early). Anyway, we just think she's beautiful, but are having a hard time deciding who she looks like. So what do you think? We'd love to hear your opinions!
