Sam's First Trophy

Sensational Kids held a "wrap party"/awards ceremony at Craighead Forrest Park last week for all the kids who participated in the kickball program during the month of September. Despite the hoards of mosquitos swarming us (you gotta love living in Delta surrounded by rice fields!), the kids all had a great time and were so proud of their trophys! The picture of Sam's team (The Blue Wildcats - the kids came up with that one!) is missing several players that were not able to make it out that night, but as you can tell by their expressions they were all quite pleased with themselves! Can't wait till next season!

I am so proud of him - he did such a good job! I really enjoyed getting to come to Jonesboro and watch some of his games. Can't wait to see how well he does next year

What a great experience Sam must have had. I know Kevin didn't get to attend all of the practices but the ones he did, I know Sam was glad he was there. In the pictures he was just smiling and appeared to be having the time of his life. I hope they continue the program. Our special kids need that interaction with others. He may turn in to a soccer champ. The trophy was a plus for him. Love you and I thank God he has such loving parents whose #1 goal is to have him be an achiever. Love you,
